At CedarBranch, every cushion we create carries more than comfort. It carries a story of family, craftsmanship, and resilience.
Our journey began in 1999, when our family first started crafting handmade products with care, patience, and attention to everyday comfort.
Over the years, our small workshop grew into a respected family business, creating handcrafted cushions for chairs, rocking chairs, loungers, and cozy corners throughout the home.
Our Story Began With Craftsmanship
Our journey began in 1999. While serving in our local church, we noticed that many Bibles became worn and damaged through everyday use. My husband designed our very first protective Bible covers, and together we began crafting them by hand for churches and families in our community.
A few years later, something unexpected changed the direction of our business.
Friends brought several chair cushions from the United States. Those cushions impressed us not only with their comfort but also with their durability. In fact, one of those original cushions still sits on my mother's chair today after more than 25 years of daily use.
Inspired by their quality and practicality, we began creating our own seat cushions for chairs, rocking chairs, loungers, and cozy corners throughout the home. At the time, products like these were almost impossible to find in Ukraine, so we learned through experimentation, dedication, and countless hours of craftsmanship.
Our New Chapter
Starting Again in America
In 2023, because of the war in Ukraine, our family made the difficult decision to leave our homeland.
We left behind our family home, our workshop, and many of the people we love.
Today, we are grateful to call Atlanta, Georgia home. When we arrived in the United States, we did what we have always done: we returned to the work we know and love.
We purchased sewing equipment, sourced quality materials, and began building our business again from the ground up.
While our family now lives in America, our workshop in Ukraine continues to operate and provide employment for 17 talented craftspeople whose skills and dedication remain an important part of our story.
